Trish, the creator of Mikmat Designs, has always loved wearing patterns and wanted to create accessories that will work with any patterned outfit. She does this by using block colours and abstract shapes in her designs- meaning no more plain dresses to wear a cool pair of earrings! 

Trish studied at COFA (UNSW) and has worked as a designer in the homewares and fashion industries both in Australia and overseas. 

All items are locally designed and made in Newcastle NSW using laser cut acrylic and bamboo. We like to design sustainably, creating timeless designs that will work season after season, while aiming to minimise waste, creating new shapes to fill the space and creating new styles from otherwise waste material.
